NeilWillis Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Door gunners = armed. Remove the external hard points, and you will lose the gun sights. It is a check box on the armaments/liveries section .

Quadg Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 sorry reflected, this is an old one.. its the same in the mi-8. you cant have door guns without the armament hard points being fitted. with the gunsight. at least the huey folds out the way. and it will take a foundational change to all modules just to fix it for these 2 helicopters. why ed has not changed it. even with all the complaints about it. i assume. Robert31178 Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 I agree with that, it would be super duper cool if we could outfit the Huey with just the mounts for door guns and save a couple hundred pounds of weight, especially since the EGT stuff is real fun now.......

I also find it annoying that if I want the cable cutters I have to use the external mounts. I doubt it's high on the to do list but it would be good to see someday, as well as maybe a few troops sitting in the back. we can always dream.
