sorry reflected, this is an old one..

its the same in the mi-8.

 

you cant have door guns without the armament hard points being fitted.

with the gunsight.

 

at least the huey folds out the way.

 

and it will take a foundational change to all modules just to fix it for these 2 helicopters.

why ed has not changed it. even with all the complaints about it. i assume.

I agree with that, it would be super duper cool if we could outfit the Huey with just the mounts for door guns and save a couple hundred pounds of weight, especially since the EGT stuff is real fun now.......

The request to have a slick only version goes back some time. I also find it annoying that if I want the cable cutters I have to use the external mounts.

 

 

I doubt it's high on the to do list but it would be good to see someday, as well as maybe a few troops sitting in the back.
