Yeah, I was talking about the future upgrade version.

The soon to be released 8K alternates drawing the two displays rather than drawing them both at the same time?

Thought I said that. The 8KX isn't really a "future" upgrade just a variant that will take longer to arrive due to the technical hurdles. It is part of the kickstarter. Any other future iterations haven't been announced afaik.

Hopefully we get the option to turn off brainwarp. Once we get foveated rendering and maybe a next gen gfx card, it may be possible.

I believe in DCS will always be some space to increase details so brainwarp will be always on. :music_whistling:

He's been pretty clear on the introduction of its post. I don't see any problem with him posting his opinion as long as he's being transparent.

True and I am posting mine, I do not rely on backers opinions .

Sure the press is known to be impartial, especially in the tech/game industry xD

Don`t think we will get any useful info at this point. It`s still to early. Hopefully Wags and team are getting a early unit, and are able to give info/video on the progress and integration into DCS.

The interviewer is asking question on the final product and Ru Wang is pointing out and looking puzzled because in her eye's that is it what you just tried at the show or am i wrong.

It's not a final product, hence the list of questions he was having Pimax respond to, for official verification. It was sloppy as interviews go on both sides, which may have thrown her off. I was puzzled more by her homework remark (she said the same thing in Amsterdam). She could have at least offered the the October kickstarter answer to the audio question "You can either use your own earphone, or you can use the headband with earphone" or the updated deluxe audio strap is still in development and not yet finalized. They really should keep Ru in the loop if they are going to expect her to do these types of shows.

Looking at the pimax forum is a train wreck that's why I posted here.

Here is a tip for pimax why not pay some one 50 bucks a show to translate for them out of the 4 million they have.

I think Ru handles English well enough. Not knowing an answer translates as I don't know. The forum is a mess for sure.

Well, to be fair, her title is Senior Director of Global Marketing :D Anything off the script may be over her (or any marketing types) head.

Project Cars 2:

…I get into the cockpit and everything is correct. I look at the car from the outside, I look closely, **** "the screendoor is not noticeable,[…] it's very fluid, everything is right, I ask one of those present to accelerate, I want to see how it looks on the move.

This was when I decided that I wanted to be backer. I usually play iRacing and other simRacing games a lot; and in the driving position, feeling how fluid it was, without tearing, ghosting, judder, and all those bad things, plus looking straight ahead and noticing from the corner of the eye the cars overtaking me through the windows thanks to this FOV. Hitting a wall without frame falls, and not even getting dizzy when turning around the car... I want it and I want it now! Ren, take my money.

I can not wait any longer I sold my rift months ago to fund the Pimax so going to pick up another rift for my VR addiction  and also a Pimax when ready, you will be very surprised at the withdrawal symptoms you experience after a month or 2 I thought I could hold out for most of 2018 but I cannot :D

lol this is why I never ended up selling my DK2 and am still using it today for DCS and Elite Dangerous, while I wait for my pimax8K. Never found the rift or vive enough of an improvement over the DK2 to justify paying 500-1000$ canadian
