RvETito Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 An off-topic post but didn't want to start new thread because of it- an excellent Su-27 family video. "See, to me that's a stupid instrument. It tells what your angle of attack is. If you don't know you shouldn't be flying." - Chuck Yeager, from the back seat of F-15D at age 89. =RvE=
Black_Hawk Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Really amazing bird! How old is it? Because it already looks slightly weathered :) 159th GAR LockOnFiles CAW Team
nscode Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 It hasen't been painted yet ;) Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.
Force_Feedback Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Well, a few weeks ago it was only an empty hulk, not even a cockpit, so I guess not too old. Look at those spikes above the K-36, damn cool canopy breakers, and some device with an antenna above the rear cockpit frame. You can see all the composite parts too, no need for vague psychidelic multicolor drwaings with canards Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:

D-Scythe Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Could be Elta's latest EL/M-2052 AESA radar at Aero India.;) ...Not according to most sources. Anyway, any idea what type of weapons these birds can be dressed in?
Alfa Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 ...Not according to most sources. Anyway, any idea what type of weapons these birds can be dressed in? You name it - the full range of Russian guided weaponry and, due to the "open architecture" WCS, "Western" weaponry can be integrated too if desired :) . - JJ. JJ
