It seems we have reach the point when we should specify which image is taken from DCS, and which is a real photo. :D

Second one is the real.

In some pictures I had the same sensations .... and I am the author! :cry::cry::cry:

Looks like a bump in the in-game gamma would get it even closer.

Hello all

I took some old pictures from a real AV-8B+ of the Spanish Navy and create a comparison with some snapshots of the AV-8B from RAZBAM.

Hope that you enjoy the comparison!

Best regards

Well the current Version of the harrier is the av8B Night attack circa 2000s as the one In use by the USMC, not the Spanish Av8b +, so technically you be comparing photos of the USMC night attack :smartass: , Though both versions share the same Interior MFD's AFAIK.

IIRC the Av8b + that Razbam does have planned later will also be the USMC version ( which lacks sparrow & Amram capability) not the Spanish one.

Yeah, I mentioned textures before release because I think it's something that could be a bit more realistic, though not a priority.

What I noticed is that the DCS ones are cleaner than any I saw in RL. As a minimum, they all had a noticable layer of grime on the underside, under the wings (on the fuselage under the wings, that is) and tail section - not surprising, really, considering the way they operate.

Having said that, these are seaborne aircraft and all the ones I have seen and worked around were land based, so maybe not... but it does look that way in those photo's.

Rig: Asus TUF GAMING B650-PLUS; Ryzen 7800X3D ; 64GB DDR5 5600; RTX 4080; VPC T50 CM2 HOTAS;

Pimax Crystal Light

I'm learning to fly - but I ain't got wings

With my head in VR - it's the next best thing!

USMC radar birds are cleared and capable of employing AIM-120s. Per publically released documents, the H6.0 OFP added the capability, and there are a few public photos floating around too.
