DaveRindner Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 Mine are malfunctioning. Basically the rudder axis is stuck on maximum left deflection, and nothing works to clear it. Did the registry reset process , per Logitech. Did the driver uninstall re-install. Tried different USB ports. Nothing works. Device Manager tells me HID and USB drivers for rudder are working fine. Toe breaks work fine. Only the rudder axis is stuck on max-left.
Svsmokey Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 I have precisely the same problem . Kicking the right pedal once seems to reset the rudder center for me ... 9700k @ stock , Aorus Pro Z390 wifi , 32gb 3200 mhz CL16 , 1tb EVO 970 , MSI RX 6800XT Gaming X TRIO , Seasonic Prime 850w Gold , Coolermaster H500m , Noctua NH-D15S , CH Pro throttle and T50CM2/WarBrD base on Foxxmounts , CH pedals , Reverb G2v2
Gearbox Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 That sounds like an issue with the potentiometer being old/worn/dirty.

DaveRindner Posted January 25, 2018 Author Posted January 25, 2018 Product is brand new. The malfunction occurred about a week after purchase. It may well be a hardware malfunction, but it is not age related.

DaveRindner Posted January 25, 2018 Author Posted January 25, 2018 Violence and technology. A marvelous combination. I'll give it a try. In mean time I am using TM Pedals I got for my PS4, and aside from pedals being a bit too close to each other, I like TM pedals more then Logitech/Saitek product. Saitek equipment is build poorly. I got X56, becouse my muscle memory was burned in with X55, and X52 Pro. Otherwise I'd be getting TM Hog. Thank you.
Gladman Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 I had Saitek pedals. They never did center and they always had calibration problems. Before that I had CH, they always worked, never had any issues. Now I have MFG's. I'll probably never own another set, they're beyond awesome. Unfortunately its just like everything else, you get what you pay for. Problem is that you do pay a significant price for Saitek pedals. i9 9900K @ 5.1Ghz - ASUS Maximus Hero XI - 32GB 4266 DDR4 RAM - ASUS RTX 2080Ti - 1 TB NVME - NZXT Kraken 62 Watercooling System - Thrustmaster Warthog Hotas (Virpil Base) - MFG Crosswind Pedals - Pimax 5K+ VFA-25 Fist Of The Fleet [sigpic]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic99190_2.gif[/sigpic] Virtual Carrier Strike Group 1 | Discord

Depending on your level of enjoyment and time spent and value of the craft of simming - My x52 pro AND my saitek proflight pedals both burned me. Personally.. I'm recommending a refund if one is available to you, and invest in a set of MFG Crosswinds, or if you simply can't afford it, CH Pedals will likely be a safer bet than saitek. To be fair.. my saitek pedals worked fine.. but I stretched without thinking one day and snapped the right pedal off.. replacing those pedals I'd have already spent close to the amount I paid for my crosswinds, and still dealing with poor quality plastic pedals. I highly doubt I'll ever find it necessary to replace my Crosswinds.. that and Milan is top notch customer service. Sorry if this advice doesn't work for you.. but as much as I sim? Worth every penny. That being said.. if you like the T-flights and can get a refund rather than a replacement, no problem with using them for as long as possible either. Personally - I'm still a little surprised Logitech would step in and buy Saitek and simply just rebrand their existing products without taking some measures to improve the overall quality of the products. DaveRindner Posted January 26, 2018 Author Posted January 26, 2018 MFG pedals look incredible. There is another option for high end pedals. Slaw Device RX Viper Both are pricey. Depending on which cornet of net you look, the set is between 500 -800. A bit much for desktop hobby. The other thing is that assembly for MFG is kind of well , constructor set. The YouTube video is 20 minutes. Saitek and TM pedals, are like. Take them out of box , plug them in. Drivers install automatically. Good to go in few minutes.
DaveRindner Posted January 26, 2018 Author Posted January 26, 2018 The ones I got were in new Logitech branded box, from Fry's in El Segundo. Fry's is great, provided you know your own stuff, as their 'associates' don't know how to tie their own shoes.

DaveRindner Posted January 30, 2018 Author Posted January 30, 2018 And I though DCS simmers have no sense of humor. How wrong was I!

The hardest thing is adjusting the toe brake tension and angle. The rest is just screwing in a couple bolts. From time to time I have to retighten the bolts on the footpedals themselves but nothing else requiring maintenance there. There is a plus side to being able to break the entire pedals down though. Any particular piece is likely not that complicated to replace. Although, I haven't needed to and probably won't. fargo007 Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 The MFG's are flat out the best piece of hardware you can have if you are flying helicopters. The increase in control I got from them was both immediate, and huge. That video covers every possible adjustment. They go together in five minutes or less with a single allen key. Truly a premium product. Have fun. Don't suck. Kill bad guys. https://discord.gg/blacksharkden/
