I am running two screens, top to bottom. Both are at 1920x1080 for a combined 1920x2160. I have a custom MonitorSetup file that export 2 MFD's to the bottom screen. I don't have a headtracking solution ATM, so I run labels for the time being.

The problem is the labels are displaying for the whole 1920x2160, and are stretched and pulled to the bottom screen so they are nowhere near the plane or target.

Can I get the labels to only show on the "main" top screen?

I’ve got the same problem. 3 screen setup with a 3440x1440 primary monitor with 3 1280x1024 monitors set on the right in W10 for Helios, exported viewports, et. Total sim area is 4720x1440. Labels are shifted to the right. When I change to 1 screen 3440x1440, labels are aligned correctly. Labels are definitely aligned to the entire sim area instead of just the primary viewport. Similar issue to the multi-monitor F10 Map bug spanning across more than one monitor.

A fix for now

Hi Guys and Gals,

I have the same problem and my fix is this:

In my Camera+LMFCD(on right side).lua file I have changed the last line to this code:

GUI=

{

x = 0;

y = 0;

width = 2944;

height = 1080;

}

UIMainView = GUI

Where Width is the width of my 2 monitors combined, and height is height of my biggest monitor.

This fixed the labels but my object shadows then went bizzare so I turned off the shadows too.

This fix stuffs up the display of the title pages etc, and there are some functions that I can not get to down bottom right of the mission editor, but it does make 2.5.0 flyable with my multi monitors.

Head tracking still works OK.

If anyone has a better fix I would be keen to know of it.

Hi Hreich,

Those files only change the size of your screens. They do not turn labels on and off.

Have a look in your Settings and the Controls menu. There is a keyboard command that turns the labels on and off. (I think it is LShift F10)

If that does not fix it let me know which of the .lua files it is that you have modified and I will send the original.

And FYI, I can not claim ownership of the fix posted previously. Ijusttried things from previous posts and made it work on my v2.5.0.

Full Kudos to the previous posters. :thumbup:

Just found that the shadows going weird after you set the GUI size is related to having the Deferred Shading turned on in the graphics settings.

So you can turn off either the Shadows or the Deferred Shading whichever you prefer. I prefer the shadows off.

ED plz put this on your list to patch:smartass:

It's challenging to spot the targets without Labels on but in some cases it really xxxx me off to find them:joystick::helpsmilie::pilotfly:

Same punishment for me. It is a step back because the problem had been solved in the world alpha.

That said, the work done is already very successful.

Add me to the list. 3 monitors running at 1920x1080. Labels are all over the place except over the objects.

Just installed the latest Update and the Labels are still misaligned...

Is there a chance to get an (more or less official:music_whistling:) answer if this issue is on the list for an future Update?

I know that a Custom Setup, like Multi-Monitors etc., is not that supported as an simple Game Setup and you have to find your way through all the Files that have to be moddifed.

But it worked without Problems in the past with 1.5/2.2 and it would be nice to have that aligned properly in 2.5:P

thanks in advance

kind regards

I have the label bug with multimonitor too using 7680x1440 resolution and 3-monitors.

Would love a fix!
