Since the release of the new cockpit textures, I can not see the clock pointers. See the image. I'm not 100% sure is this a new bug. I have not flown this bird for a long time.

I like them black. M-2K has the most useless clock in any plane I've seen anyway. Tim, can you get us an extra digital clock glued somewhere?

Good job Tim on the graphic updates

It's useless because it's simulated incorrectly, check the video I linked above. It should have a built-in stopwatch and the small scale at the bottom is used to show elapsed minutes, not the passage of seconds. It's a bizarre idea to show seconds on a scale with only 15 marks...

Dobrze powiedziane :) a question to those who know the plane well - does it have internal backlight? During the night missions it is very difficult to read it without a flashlight.

Probably not, as it's just a mechanical clock bolted on a plate.

But it should have fluorescent needles.

EDIT:

Or maybe it does, at least the one in 2000-5 is backlit. But that's a different clock:

Urgh... not sure about that...

Oh, and BTW: the needles should be phosphorescent, but no backlighting on the 'C'. :)

Yes, the clock always showed the zulu time and never local time.
Is that so? That is good to know. Thank you!

Yes, the clock always showed the zulu time and never local time. It would be great to have the option to chose between the two like in the Harrier.

Correct behavior would be great also :).

It is a mechanical clock, correct behaviour includes manually winding and setting the time (I don't know this one, but most manual winding clocks last less than 40h).

Well, that would end the timezone dispute for sure. :D

Any chance to add key for local time also or manual adjustment by mouse?

M-2000C clock shows the Zulu time by default, thiugh I imagine there is a knob that would enable changing the time, though that is a question to M2K experts around. Also, there was a bug with Z in 2.5.0 which is fixed in 2.5.1.

In 2.5.1 the small seconds tick disappeared, while a new "large" one is presente that is supposed to run across the whole quadrant, but it resets every 15 seconds

I confirm that bug. Looks like the just moved the hand function to the center axis without taking into account that this new sphere is graduated for 60 instead of 15 seconds.

In the openbeta update just released a fix for a clock issue is mentioned. It could be the quickest fix in DCS history :megalol:

I'd done only a quick test (cold and dark on ramp) after latest OB update, but the second tick still reset to zero after reaching 15 seconds on my side like EPod reported before.

Indeed it doesn't yet work as it should.

The big seconds hand should be the seconds of the chronograph, i.e. should stay at 12 o'clock until the chronograph is started; and then of course it should go round the clock, up to 60 seconds elapsed (chronograph). Note: there is no seconds hand for the time on this timepiece, only for the chronograph.

The smal minutes hand counter at 6 o'clock is also related to the chronograph, i.e. it should count up to 15 minutes when the chronograph is started.

The chronograph is started, stopped and resetted using the unique winding/set crown at 6 o'clock (currently inactive in DCS most recent OB, as in previous versions), in sequence. Note: the "type 11" doesn't have the flyback complication. It's also a manual winding watch.

This crown at 6 o'clock also allows to set the time, after having first pulled down the little lever at 5 o'clock.

Razbam team is already aware of that, so I guess we should wait for further updates :)

The animations are now correct, but the stopwatch still can't be controlled. There's no working clickspot, clock relates shortcuts don't do anything.
