Chops Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 I searched the Forums for information on how to move the Pilot on the ground, but did not find any information. My apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but is there a list of key commands for controlling the pilot on the ground after ejecting, or a way to move the pilot around the aircraft during pre-flight to get a close look at the aircraft exterior?
bolek Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 After ejecting you can move the pilot with the joystick, but that's pretty much it as far as I know.
feefifofum Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 Rudder left/right will turn in place, pitch up/down will walk forward and back, roll left/right will strafe; headtracking still works as well. There is no way to do this prior to entering the aircraft at this time. THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC
Devrim Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 FYI. If you eject in a multiplayer server, you can do things what friends said above, but other users in the server won't see you're moving. They see you stationary. That's maybe a bug or not. QuiGon Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 It's a bug that has been around for a loooooong time (for ever?). Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
ED Team NineLine Posted February 23, 2018 ED Team Posted February 23, 2018 It's a bug that has been around for a loooooong time (for ever?). I dont doubt it, more could be done with the pilot once you eject, but right now its more of a novelty than a feature. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**

Guest Posted November 23, 2023 Posted November 23, 2023 Yeah the ability to run to a landing Huey and jump in to be rescued would be great!

That requires the ability to stand around and wait for said landing Huey for two hours or more, then sit in the back and do nothing for the ensuing two hour return trip. Greatly reduced fun factor unless you enjoy watching grass grow or paint dry.
