I think this has been brought up before, but during multiplayer I get quite long pauses which cause me to sometimes crash into the ground.

My FPS is fine, up to 60fps on High settings. The pauses seem to be random, but correlate with something loading into the scene. If this happens while flying a Helicopter, it almost certainly means I'm dead by the time the game resumes.

Specification:

AMD Ryzen 5 1600

16GB DDR4 RAM

ASUS Strix B350 Motherboard

2xKingston 240GB SSDs (game is installed here)

Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming 8GB

Windows 10 Pro

Playing in 1440p.

Yeah t's fun came out inverted in a Gazelle once, not a good ending,.. :D

Control is an illusion which usually shatters at the least expected moment.

Gazelle Mini-gun version is endorphins with rotors. See above.

You can prevent this by creating a mission with the mission editor. Put all aircrafts which are available for playing on an airport. Before u go Multiplayer load this mission. Then all aicrafts are preloaded in your system. this will reduce a bit the big lags when someone joins the server.

Has this "workaround" been confirmed by any official source here ?

We have been doing this in our squadron for a long time, we have an abandoned airfield and we have each aircraft we will have in the mission on the deck and "uncontrolled" ticked for each of them

it will reduce the stutter of loading a new aircraft while the mission is running

Do you have a custom mission you can upload to help the rest of us out?

Just place any client controlled aircraft at an unused field, select "takeoff from ramp" and check "uncontrolled." You can also place them as a static object in a remote corner of the map somewhere.

Issue with uploading something for you guys is you only want to do this for the aircraft you know will be featured in the mission or it will take a million years to load the first time. It's best done on a per-mission basis.

I think there's a 'new' pause that's been added in the latest patch, seems to be related to SAMs and the length of the pause is very different (much longer - 20-30 seconds or so) to the aircraft loading pause (which is normally only a second or two for me). I think this post has details on how to reproduce: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=204890
