if you take a look in your dcs root you will find your autoupdate_log.txt it will show everything that has been changed and adjusted.

The patch notes always highlight the main updates, it isn't always the whole picture.

I only had 3GB to download, did you disable mods before patching ?

Might be big but it took away some of my hotas saved settings???

Only flown 1x in a wk and just a quick "lets see what happens" shake down hop today.

But yeah another $$$$ SSD drive is in my very near future.

DCS does not touch the input folder in saved games.

Maybe there was some tweaks done to a modules inputs changed or did you have custom modified inputs in DCS core?

Same here, I deleted both “mods” and “scripts” to get everything working.

To OP: the patches and fixes replaces complete set of files, not file changes. That is why the patches are huge, or at least some of the reason.

I think that servers can still block mods ? Mods work in SP and severs that allow those

No hard feelings but I think in today's Era where internet is almost free, we should not complaint about the size of the updates.

The thing to consider is that updates should keep rolling in. The memory leak issue should be solved I dont care if it takes TBs of download.
