So this is happening yes??? What if we started a request thread for potential liveries on the P-47D release?

My first vote: the 365th FG, 9th AF. the Hellhawks were formed in May 1943, commenced operations in Feb 1944, flying the P-47 as ground attack a dedicated unit supporting Courtney Hodges' 1st Army and assault on the Wehrmacht. The Hellhawks were a dedicated ground pounder unit under Gen Pete Quesada, but even as mud movers scored against Luftwaffe aircraft regularly, over 121 kills, giving better than they got.

I'm also a huge fan of these guys too, the 509th FS, 405th FG. Super awesome !!!

What about the highest scoring pilot in the European theater, F-86 Sabre ace in the skies of Korea, and Spitfire pilot??? Hopefully someone will do a three pack at some point!

Francis S. Gabreski reached 31 kills (28 aerial and 3 ground) before being shot down on July 20th, 1944. He spent the rest of the war as a POW. At the time of his being captured he was the highest scoring pilot of the war, and finished as the top scoring US pilot against the Luftwaffe.

Colonel Hubert "Hub" Zemke led the Wolfpack from September 1942 until August 1944, and under his guidance the 56th FG scored over 500 of it's eventual 655+ aerial kills, 15 of which were his. Zempke went on to shoot down 2.5 enemies in the P-51 Mustang (another multiplane skinpack??)

@CHSubZero

The Rebel Flag has been determined to be a symbol of racist thinking now and isnt allowed by the PC police.

So for a request, how about a F6F Hellcat paint, so you can zoom around and shoot down your "Zero" Fw-190s?

Oh I'm not saying I agree with it at all. It was meant as sarcasm. Friggin snowflakes.

So back to that Hellcat idea... Anyone? I dont even own it, but would laugh my butt off.

Aren’t there rumours we’re getting the real thing with the Pacific map? Or did I mishear that?

Only the F4U Corsair was spoken of, that I know.
