mdee Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Congratulations! It's also in top 10 best sellers atm. I'd not normally post this sort of thing, but this is giving me hope - bring back sim golden years please (DCS never left ;) )!
poochies Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 LOL even my non simming friends are grabbing it because they say it's a " work of art " ….and it helps when I told them DCS world is free.....:music_whistling:

Thinking of it, I think it's good that it's early access plane - it's not much more complex than FC3 planes atm (as long as one doesn't attempt CASE1 or refuel) and it makes it easier to learn and fly.
Gman109 Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Congrats ED - I'm hoping the non Steam sales are equally good - no better in fact. This bodes well for future ED/DCS content, $ is the best measure and predictor for the future IMO. I've told everyone I can as well about the Hornet module. Onni Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Wow! I never expected such an expensive simulator DLC to get into those lists, but there it is. I fully understand though why it is there, I've bought it for myself and I love it!
ouPhrontis Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 That's quite surprising, considering how niche this side of flight simulation is. Excellent work ED. NATO - BF callsign: BLACKRAIN 2x X5675 hexacore CPUs for 24 cores | 72GB DDR3 ECC RAM 3 channel | GTX 1050Ti | 500GB SSD on PCIe lane | CH Products HOTAS | TrackIR5 | Win 7 64
triplec76 Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Definitely worth a pat on the back for ED. Then immediately get to work to finish up the Hornet and deliver the other modules ASAP.
nrosko Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 That's quite surprising, considering how niche this side of flight simulation is. Excellent work ED. Not exactly cheap either. totally worth it though. Win 10 64//4.5g i7 Kaby Lake//gtx Titan x pascal//16gb 3200ram//Asus Maximux Hero IX//Oculus Rift//
Patersonski Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Here's the first Steam review: "Expensive but still cheaper than a girlfriend, always sleek, takes less time to get ready to go out and only nags me when I fail to pull out… of a dive quickly." Haha, good stuff. Sent from my ASUS_Z01FD using Tapatalk Rig: i7-6850K, Sapphire 6900XT, 32GB RAM, Asus X99-Pro board. Gear: VPC WarBRD/MongoosT-50 Stick, VPC MongoosMT-50 Throttle, VKB T-Rudders Mk.IV Pedals, HP Reverb G2.
ApoNOOB Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 There are a lot of bad reviews, that mostly don't have any leg to stand on. This is a good moment to make & update your own reviews etc.
wizav Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Now just think about what an F-16 would do Well, after they complete F18 it will be much easier to develop F16 still years away. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
xSCAR45 Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 Bought my copy through Steam! Price is more than I would like but I paid up. Beats waiting for a Steam sale. :captain: Modules: F/A-18C, Flaming Cliffs III, Ka-50, P-51D, UH-1H, Nevada, Normandy :captain:
M1Combat Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 And that's not even counting non-steam pre-order... Good work ED :). Also... Thank you. Nvidia RTX3080 (HP Reverb), AMD 3800x Asus Prime X570P, 64GB G-Skill RipJaw 3600 Saitek X-65F and Fanatec Club-Sport Pedals (Using VJoy and Gremlin to remap Throttle and Clutch into a Rudder axis)
