I dont look at mine the server starts it and I have no screen on server I do everything remotely where at work or at home. and the server session is always minimised.. Griffon345 Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 I have a modified server.lua file in my savegames folder to gate the maximum FOV zoom out to 85-97 depending on the aircraft. I've done this as I use the right brake pedal as a FOV zoom slider and would get full (120) zoom out when the pedal is not pressed if not modded. This is obviously not going to work as the view is way too zoomed out and fish-eyed to fly with. The mod works like a charm in SP but not in multiplayer. Am I correct in saying the modded server.lua is completely ignored in MP mode and if so, anyone know of a solution to force max FOV zoom to around 90 in MP? 1
Astralnut Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 I have no problem logging into MP servers but I noticed significant frame rate reduction the more active players were on flying around. I fly Helicopters, so maybe those are more tasking. It has already been said by Eagle Dynamics that the code needs to be updated and there are opportunities identified to increase performance by making better use of the hardware. We just need to have patience.

The mission is the same as before the latest Open Beta update. It just keeps on crashing after a number of hours.
