Did the drag reduction for the landing gear go in? Didn’t see it in the above quoted notes from the change log. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Retired CO of the vCSG-3's VF-103 Jolly Rogers
flagg Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 I was going to ask the same! Is it dragging or not? :D
Banzaiib Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 I know there are different internal builds, but if a fix is announced for the next patch in the "mini updates", shouldn't it also be listed in the update log?
lbellouny Posted July 18, 2018 Author Posted July 18, 2018 The reason I posted the question was because it was mentioned in Wags’ post from Friday last week that it should be in this update. I didn’t see it listed in the log, and I was asking if it got missed in the log, or, wasn’t merged in as had happened ed to the single/ripple select in the last update. Pasquale1986 Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 Has anyone tested this already? Main Module: AH-64D Personal Wishlist: HH-60G, F-117A, B-52H
fmedges Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 I tested it, but honestly can't tell if it's the same or less. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Allied Air Command Website | Allied Air Command Discord
ED Team cofcorpse Posted July 18, 2018 ED Team Posted July 18, 2018 I think this correction is not included in current patch.
IvanK Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 No it is not in the current patch. In the Dev version these are the numbers you get Config: Weight (Chlkst page) 27,877lbs, 2 x Aim 9, 1800Lbs Fuel remaining, Landing Gear Down, Full Flap, On Speed Actual Numbers recorded RL in Flight Config as above : Straight and Level 85%N2 3 Deg Glideslope On Speed :82-83% N2, Fuel Flow 3000Lbs per Hour per Engine In the Dev Version: Straight and Level : 87% N2 Fuel Flow 4300Lbs Per Engine 3 Degree Glide Slope : 83% N2 Fuel Flow 3100Lbs Per Engine. So as you can see the coders have done a great job as we are seeing Real world numbers.
ApacheDoctor Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 Seemed a lot smoother in the pattern today though during my test after the update. Something got changed...

fmedges Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 Doubtful. I had no problem with the current gear drag. My break is a lot smoother after yesterday for some reason though. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Allied Air Command Website | Allied Air Command Discord
wrl11 Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 It is reduced. Now it is much smoother to put the trim on with the gear dropped. No more big nose dip. .
SCU Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 Placebo effect kicking in? The devs have clearly done some work on PA (Powered Approach) mode; a lot of the issues mentioned in the long and famous PA mode thread have been improved, a lot. Thanks ED for this and I hope they continue honing the module to be as the real thing as they can. HOTAS: Thrustmaster Warthog PC: it's much better now

Doum76 Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 Placebo effect kicking in? Duuno, but on my side i don't see any difference, my patterns and breaks are as soft and smooth as before and trimming is as easy as it was.... dunno
