in latest openbeta, there is modelviewer2.exe

 

to make it run, you need to create a folder platforms under bin, then copy the bin/qwindows.dll into it

 

Then you can enjoy the new modelviewer2. modelviewer2 has several more advanced options, i.e.

1. limit the FPS

2. arg list only shows valid arg id

I've got ModelViewer2 working as per the instructions above (thanks for the intel guys)

 

However, I can't seem to figure out how to get the liveries in the saved games folder to show up in modelviewer2 (only getting the default liveries)

 

The saved game (downloaded) liveries are still showing up in the original model viewer (using the modified autoexec.lua)

 

Is there another autoexec.lua for modelviewer2 that requires modifying like the original?

ModelViewer 2 doesnt read the Folder Paths Correctly yet.

I've just discovered ModelViewer2. Simply great!!!

 

...but... I think I'll never understand why a developer skips to fix the most useful and needy feature (reloading textures or model) of a software and develops a new version of it. :\

And, it won't see the Liveries folder in Saved Games (LCtrl+L).

Or is there another way to load them?
