Думаю останется, тоже обратил внимание. Интересно на референс глянуть, ибо я такой фактуры не встречал.

That's the fuel grade instructions for the ground crew. In this case it appears to be C3 synthetic or 100 octane natural fuel. There is no MW50 marking.

Думаю останется, тоже обратил внимание. Интересно на референс глянуть, ибо я такой фактуры не встречал.

Придумано не с потолка. Такой рефенс есть, посмотрю. Подразумевается что в этом месте не прокатный стальной лист гладкий, а бронекольцо. Такая же фактура есть еще на некоторых элементах двигателя.

It is from :

L.Dv.T.2190 A-7/R2 und A-8/R2/Wa - Fw 190 A-7/R2 un A8/R2 SchuBwaffenanlage - MK 108 un des Flugeln

 

It`s for 30mm cannons outer wings position for models A-7 and A-8.

 

No standard F-8 had these three C/Bs.

The poor P-40 won't stand a chance against the German planes.

 

Nope, not really. The F has the Merlin engine going for it, and if nothing else it would have been able to out turn all of these late model German fighters, but yeah it was an outdated airframe right off the bat.

 

As I mentioned in the P-47 thread, it will enjoy even less success online than it did in real life simply because we, as E-fighter pilots, have so much more experience than all but maybe the longest fighting Experten in fighter aircraft that most of the advantages that the P-40 could carry into a fight are eliminated by the fact that all of us have studied our craft for decades in some cases. It's pretty much now unless you have a huge altitude advantage you won't survive in a P-40 unless you just aren't spotted.......and man are planes hard to see on this game!!

 

Then there's the obvious, uh, where is our P-40 anyways?
