Hello,

Jordan also uses the CC variant, with around 13 units still in service.

Hola. Probablemente estés usando una misión antigua. Edita la misión con nueva carga de pago o rearma una vez dentro de la misión.

Hello. You are probably using an old mission. Edit your mission with new payload o rearm once inside the mission.

THIS^^^^^^^^^^^^

Why does the speed need to be changed i found it very similar to the L-39, What you want an after burner mod added to appease you guys?

Complained the hawk was to fast and now the C-101CC to slow:megalol:

Our modules are an accurate simulation of the real aircraft. It can hardly get more real in a profesional simulation.

Hello,

First of all, let me say that I'm happy with the aircraft as it is, and it certainly feels right when flying it ... but I must admit that I do find it to be a bit slow.

It is kind of hard for a simple user to know what should be the correct speed of the aircraft, as the DCS manual shows a lot of specifications for the real aircraft, except the performance figures .. no max speed, no ceiling, no range.

The DCS manual includes on its references the book "Conocer el C-101" by César Piquer Martínez, but that book is not easily available on my country. But, I do have a similar book: "Casa Aviojet C-101" by Juan Carlos Pando, and on that book is stated that the max speed at sea level (doesnt say the Tº or test weight) is 769 Km/h for the CC version:

oKEL4Di.jpg

However, on my test flights I have not been able to approach that speed, for example this is at almost Sea Level, Tº is 15º, fuel at 25%:

DbSNFx3.jpg

This was the aircraft's weight at the start of the test:

pwG5Hc9.jpg

The indicated airspeed was about 370 knots:

I also tested the ceiling, and that come around perfect, with a first test at 25º coming a bit short, but at 15º (thats the ambient temperature on the Mission Editor, I assume its at sea level) the aircraft attained 44770 feet:

UmhHBut.jpg

I also feel that the take off roll is longer than the specification I've got, but I need to test it in more controlled conditions.

So, I would like if you can please comment on this and if possible provide the performance data that the current DCS manual lacks. Thanks a lot and best regards,

Eduardo

I want to start off by congratulating AvioDev on getting the EFM implemented. For me, the EFM is very well done and the C101EB (only version I've tried so far) is a lot of fun to fly. The behaviors seem great too, the airframe is well damped but all feels dynamic. The EFM is really enjoyable to fly and also seems very plausible. Bravo!

I bought the C101EB back in June 2015 and have been looking forward to flying the EFM since then. I'm happy to say that your team delivered and the C101EB is my favorite trainer and one of my favorite modules at the moment. Especially as a trainer, the western cockpit is much more familiar for me and its fun trying out things like ADF navigation on a western platform.

As for the performance, I am seeing a 30 knot top speed to the L-39C which seems like it would be similar performance wise (355 KIAS vs 385 KIAS at 2500' MSL). The C101EB appears to have plenty of low speed performance for go arounds and initial climb out. The difference in performance is most evident above 250 KIAS or so. The C101EB does appear to have a larger frontal cross-section and thicker wings (not to mention both heavier with a lower thrust engine), so differences in acceleration is to be expected. It feels like some of the natural ram effects that increase jet engine thrust with speed (or the balance between ram effect and ram drag) might be the culprit. But it can be hard to tell performance from plain wikipedia figures. One would need to performance charts to map it all out.

For me, these performance differences don't effect my enjoyment of the module though.

Thanks again to AvioDev for getting this excellent EFM implemented and I hope you guys press forward with the Mirage F.1 - I love that airplane and I feel confident that it would be a well done module.

Hello everyone, Im considering to buy this module, cockpit look fenomenal , im just concerned about the speed, it appear to have a limit of 417 KTS but all the video I found around people is pushing it with weapons at 180 200 KTS only.

I know in dive can be quiet a bit different but I compared with MB339 and L39 and is quiet of different.

Can someone tell me how the speed rely? Is it really so slow like it appear?

Thx

Big skill, I love the C-101 and reccomend it. It does seem a little slower than the L-39 but I have beat them in a dog fight. Also it can carry a much larger and more useful load than the L-39. And I love the navigation radios because you can use VOR, ILS, NDB, and Tacan unlike the L-39 that only uses the rare Russian style nav radios. If you have and like the L-39 you won't regret the C-101.

That's exactly what he's talking about I guess. NDB isn't very common today in the west I guess.

Jesus God, no they aren't. I only practice them for work. If I flew for myself? I'd never touch them.

Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!
