The TF-30 will probably be quite a handful to code. But that's basically the only difference between the planes, so at least it's a very straight forward job, just a handful of one.

 

Let's work on learning how to fly the easier to fly variant before we dive into the one that will actively trying to kill us haha

I don't know exactly which year is supposed to be the A version at the sim, but certainly there will be diferences in avionics, for instance, as there were many iterations along the time.

 

E.G: regarding HUD symbols:

- prior 1985 the F-14 didn't have the Sidewinder moving seeker symbol at the HUD;

- its search pattern (which isn't visible, by the way) was also different;

 

... for other missiles / weapon employment modes, there are probably more differences also.
