Is the read me file the same one that came with the rar pack? The Mediafile site has too many pop ups and I can't download from that the site.

Just to note... Over the next few weeks we will be releasing further skins files and configurations that will also come as modman packs.

 

Just one of these confiurations will be for event's such as Red Flag where all the participants flying A-10's will be able to have their own dedicated and personalised skin which can be seen by anybody that has the SIM-MOD A-10A installed with the configuration. If the Red Flag and other event organisers are willing to allow this that is.

It must be my stupid night, I re-installed Lo/ FC, a completely clean install then added LOreload all is ok so far, then I installed this mod and all that shows up in the payload box are the old 10 skins, what am I doing wrong ? it was installed with the latest version of Modman 6.3.0.1

EDIT:

 

Installation went flawless on my end. Added A-10 mod RAR file to Modman addon list and hit install. The minor discrepancy with Walmis F-15C model (weapons being misaligned) was easily solved by just copy/paste and override the whole F-15C section from backed up Meini.xml file into new Meini.xml file.

Check and make sure that the meinit.xml has been installed with modman. This is where all of the skins are located. When you install the package with modman it will warn you that overwriting the meinit.xml is dangerous.. this is normal, but you do need to do it to make the mod work.

 

If the file has been installed there should be a green box next to it like this:

 

 

If it isn't, you can change modman to file by file mode, and highlight then install this file at the bottom.

open your lockon folder and then the config folder.

 

In there open the file graphics.cfg with notepad.

 

scroll down to the DisplayMode settings and change this value to 1.6

 

 

Be careful. Every time you change a graphics or difficulty setting in the game, this will re-set to 1.3333333

Thanks man. I did not realize that was the intended size for the -10 to be..lol

But I am still getting the graphics issues. I will try to work things out tomorrow.

the widescreen was not intended for the A-10, i just saw your screenshot and realized you were not running on the correct ratio. Try updating your graphics driver.
