Thanks so much for doing the update.  Your mod (just the ability to adjust the amount of haze) makes this game 100 % better.

Just tested 22.2 in multi-thread / Open XR.  It looks like something broke the NVG convergence options.  I can no longer move the 'tubes' to have them overlap as one circle in VR.  The in/out convergence options only seem to move both tubes either left, or right.

 

Edit:  Just tested with single thread, no Open XR.  Same issue, convergence options are not working.

I did not check NVG...I'm far from my PC for two weeks, so I'm afraid you'll have to wait...

Le me is now hoping that this still works with today's update... but I'll probably be going to play that Hammerwatch 2 Demo mostly instead until Moonday anyways (going to be an absolute gem for anyone who likes retro style RPGs, will release in mid August) mlp-lfun.png

A suggestion for the developer @lefuneste01 occurred to me and it is the possibility that while the 3Dmigoto loader is open (in the case of openXR) it can be used in the game regardless of the times the DCS simulator is closed or opened.

Currently, if for some reason DCS has to be restarted (server hangs, connection problems, etc.) you have to restart the loader again and it is very annoying, especially for someone like me who already has memory failures.😅😅😅

Hello, I'm not the developer of 3Dmigoto library, so nothing I can do... Some people did things with MSdos scripts or autohotkey to ensure they will launch the library when launching DCS.

Shadow reduction does not seem to work for trees only anymore, but does with Trees and Buildings?

that's possible because they change shaders with version and some shaders are common with maps, other not. So that's a mess, long to test fully

 I often just chek all shadows are off for all maps I own.

I am getting massive performance stutters and spikes with this mod installed in MT and Openxr, the spikes are worse with Turbo Mode enabled, but still present when not, they just aren't as severe

I tested today and did not have spikes with the mod and instant action/Huey/harbour...So what are your options and in which mission did you have issues ?

It turned  up in a couple of missions, a F-18 campaign mission, and the AH-64D instant action in Syria, hot start on the ramp. I pulled the mod, replayed, and it was fine.

What settings do you need to know?

Your graphics settings, and also the mod settings (you can provide option.lua and d3dx_user.ini).

i get this error with openXR  version. do not close and do not work in game

I did not see big differences between your settings and mine, I tested AH64 instant action in syria, the fps curves did not shown spikes with or without the mod (on ground, at hte beginning of the mission). Could you please post a track showing the issue ?
