DCS F16 texture templates

Just curious if ED will be releasing any F16 texture files for us to use for custom skins before the aircraft releases?

In the mini-update it's stated that the external model it's not complete yet.

I pretty mouch doubt we can have it before release.

We probably wont see a template until any changes or tweaks to the model have been completed.

 

ED know users are keen to start making liveries so hopefully it wont be to long into early access before we see one.

There's a new section on ED website, with a few skins for the F-16 already...and by the look of it, it seems like they were able to paint "in between" the main fuselage and the inscriptions and marks over. I wonder how they did that? Do you have any idea, if maybe we can use the original files to do that? But how? :)

 

(sorry, I can't wait to be able to make my own skin too) :megalol:

Hi All Does anyone know where the Description LUA file is for the current. skin?? the one that shows like all the livery parts and the countries and name or Can one be made I have no Idea how to. I would like to see my intial skin in Game, but can only uise the current name. Thanks in advance for the help. I see the Textures, But the Little Lua Notepad thing is not in there. is in another spot?? If so where might it be? in the Bazar Folder

Thanks for that, another small question. How do I name it so it would show up as like a Livery option. I just want to name it say Smash 92-118 country USA
