antsh Posted October 3, 2019 Posted October 3, 2019 After watching Wags' video, it seems the azimuth scan range of the F-16 radar is only 60 degrees compared to the F18 radar of 140 degrees. Is that correct?
ED Team cofcorpse Posted October 3, 2019 ED Team Posted October 3, 2019 It is 120 degrees, 60 to each side

I had the same question and figured it was probably 120°. i7-8700K (6 Core, 12MB Cache, 4.6GHz) 32 GB DDR4 XMP @ 2933MHz, GTX 1080Ti w/ 11GB GDDR5X, Windows 10 Pro, 256GB SSD, TM Warthog Stick & Throttle, TM TPR Pedals, TrackIR5
Slazi Posted October 3, 2019 Posted October 3, 2019 Indeed, my mistake... too many videos in a short period. You're not allowed to make mistakes! Perfection is what we all require. Loving the 16 so far (although I just did a startup and take off with keyboard because I'm a little sick right now and didn't have the energy to plug in a joystick).
antsh Posted October 3, 2019 Author Posted October 3, 2019 No intent to place any blame, Wags! Your videos are great. It is what I assumed and just wanted to clarify. Just some pent up excitement for this module!
imacken Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 Azimuth 60 degree sweep is 60 left and right, yes? In Wags' radar video, he says the 60 degree azimuth sweep is 30 to the left and 30 to the right, but it's 60 left and right, isn't it? deep Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 Yes, I believe Wags may have misspoken in the rush to get the video out. It should be 60+60=120 total sweep at maximum azimuth.
