We are very pleased to announce the creation of a new Lock-On/DCS Squadron, the 104th Phoenix Virtual Fighter/Bomber Squadron. Drawing on our combined years of experience gained as members and squadron leaders of the 169th Panthers VFS Ed “ManaWar” Green and I have decided to strike out on our own as partners and try our hand at the formation and maintenance of a new squadron. As Co-Wing Commanders’ of the Phoenix our goals are to both expand the LockOn/DCS community through unprecedented inter-squad cooperation and strive to make the 104th Phoenix VFBS one of the most professional, challenging, interesting, competitive, and above all fun squads to fly with or against.

 

Visit our excellent website and forums at www.104thPhoenix.com and have a look around. The site is new and under constant development and improvement by Ed, our resident web guru. As of December 1st we will host our own custom built dedicated Lock On server on a fat pipe 100Mbps connection which will be made available for play on Hyperlobby 24/7. Of course our Teamspeak Server is up and available any time of day or night as well. We are also working on creating an integrated cadet/pilot training/rating program and stats board with both intra and inter squad applications as well as standard stats board functionality in mind. This will go live in stages shortly after the official launch of our dedicated server and will be announced on the web site.

 

The 104th Phoenix VFBS is now accepting applications for membership in our squad at all levels of experience.
