Looks cute, but it must be difficult to keep a serious expression while riding in a parade in one...

Modules: Bf 109, C-101, CE-II, F-5, Gazelle, Huey, Ka-50, Mi-8, MiG-15, MiG-19, MiG-21, Albatros, Viggen, Mirage 2000, Hornet, Yak-52, FC3

The whole trick about that on parade is that chances are that somebody else is riding in or carrying with them something that's even more ludicrous at all times.

DCS lacks types of vehicles that have unique VTOL VSTOL features.

the convertiplane

the gyrocopter

the seaplane

these typologies are among my wishes in DCS.

I wonder if someone is already working on one of these 3 types?

there is also a 4 and a 5 typology.

and I'm:

Airships

minijets

This I agree with 100%

Igla target? Or maybe stinger target?

Why not both?

And every rifle with a caliber bigger than 0.22LR

Igla target? Or maybe stinger target?

It probably has a very small IR signature.

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

I mean, this is fine, it's a good idea, but ONLY for tasks that don't feature an actual shooting enemy. Meaning, absolutely NOWHERE near any kind of war, even the small "Low Intensity Conflicts" would eat this thing alive with just smallarms. And I think they know it too.

Inserting specops? Eh... I mean... I dunno. Sure, could work in very low threat regions... but I think realistically this is more for peacetime border patrols and crowd control over cities, at a very cheap price.

Deliver messages or small scale supplies maybe? Find a buyer for a hundred surplus Autogyros perhaps? Perhaps a bit of police action or surveillance is really the point. And then perhaps there jus isn't a point.

It makes a lot more sense than the jet powered hoverboard the French bought.

unlike the hoverboard, the autogyro is classified as a rotating wing flying aircraft.

therefore it falls as a rotating aircraft and is recognized as such worldwide and a unique category.

if the Chinese use it as a military vehicle it is a big advantage because it is very handy.

autogyro was invented long before helicopters ... let's say in a nutshell and the father of helicopters.

it is not a ridiculous vehicle as you say in the forum but it is an absolutely advanced vehicle.

it was invented because many airplane pilots during the second world war died on airplanes because of the stall, ... well the autogyro unlike an airplane never stalls and to make it stall it will be very difficult.

In 1934 in Hanworth, England, Juan de la Cierva successfully experienced his first autogyro

...and yet the autogyro did not become famous as the most successful vehicle of the war. At all. Point being that while it is an interesting vehicle for sure and a fascinating development, it isn't much of a fighting vehicle, neither then nor now.
