[RESOLVED]2.5.6 multiplayer playerid is given to same players

Bug still present for 3 weeks now... Xcom had to disable his entire BlueFlag stat tracking database-uplink because of it... ED, is this even your highest priority MP-bug currently?

Beating the dead horse isn't going to fix it any faster guys. It's been reported, leave it at that until something in the patch notes, or someone on the team says otherwise.

Also our server is affected by this problem, and we've spent lot of time to develop the web based stats page, we're now thinking to turn the stats page off since it's not showing anything good so far.

 

We're at your disposal to make some recording/test and whatever makes sense for you to help on identifying and fixing this issue, just let us know!

The fix is being tested and hopefully will be out in the next beta.

The FIX is inside the 2.5.6.45317? I Can't find anything on changelog regarding this issue.

Where? Still can't find "playerID", "player ID" or anything similar in changelog....

This threads title is misleading.

 

Fact: There was a big problem with statistics. We fixed it.

 

Someone had presumed that the cause was "player id duplicated between different online players". But it was not the case at all. player id cannot be duplicated because it is the connection id. The problem was inside the statistics module which is being refactored.

 

That's why the changelog does not mention 'playerid'. It does reference this thread, though.

I experienced something twice in MP this week end :

- when two aircrafts kill each other in a trade, only the first one gets the kill. The other does not and aircraft 1 gets killed by « unknown » in the chat.

 

Is this voluntary to favour the one who killed first or is this a bug ?
