I hope the MiG-29K is the brain melting module, finally a high-fidelity modern, REDFOR aircraft.

The Kuznetsov probably won't be as advanced as the Stennis, but hopefully in the future it will get similar treatment.

I'm hoping that ED remodels the P-700, 9M330 and 9M331 missiles, like they've done with the SM-2 for the Arleigh Burke.

Modules I own: F-14A/B, F-4E, Mi-24P, AJS 37, AV-8B N/A, F-5E-3, MiG-21bis, F-16CM, F/A-18C, Supercarrier, Mi-8MTV2, UH-1H, Mirage 2000C, FC3, MiG-15bis, Ka-50, A-10C (+ A-10C II), P-47D, P-51D, C-101, Yak-52, WWII Assets, CA, NS430, Hawk.

Terrains I own: South Atlantic, Syria, The Channel, SoH/PG, Marianas.

System:

GIGABYTE B650 AORUS ELITE AX, AMD Ryzen 5 7600, Corsair Vengeance DDR5-5200 32 GB, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070S FE, Western Digital Black SN850X 1 TB (DCS dedicated) & 2 TB NVMe SSDs, Corsair RM850X 850 W, NZXT H7 Flow, MSI G274CV.

Well it’s not that there’s many options. From what I could see, there’s only:

- Su33, which we already have, if only at FC3 level

- Yak38, which sounded like a bit of a dog

- Mig29k, which was barely used by the Russians, and was plagued with so many issues when used by the Indians, that they’re supposedly looking at the F18 and Rafale

Barely used by the Russians?? Also depending who you ask the Indian problems have been solved, in one year they had like 10 single engine landings. It was all about India not getting spares quickly enough and having to send engines to Russia to get overhauled, supposedly alt of those issues are fixed, but I haven’t seen anything lately about readiness rates. It looks like they still plan to use their MiG-29s on the Vikrant which was also built with a ski jump. They are shopping at F-18 and Rafale options. But last I heard MiG-29K was back on the table, I’ll see if I can find an article.

Kutznetzov is getting a model upgrade included with the Supercarrier module. Doubt it's going to have animated deck crew or new comms, though, but it's a good start.

Por Favor?

Let me rephrase this for you so it better represents the issue. Por favor Russia?

When it comes to Russian airplanes the number one factor preventing them from being done is that the Russian governments has strict controls on its military intellectual properties. And since Eagle Dynamics is a Russian Company they are forbidden to do it. So its pretty much left up a 3rd party that is willing and able to get the necessary documentation.
