Support for DCS:Supercarrier communications has been in preparation for some time.

Next plugin update will have support for Supercarrier comms through the new Realistic ATC extension.

This extension is license only, i.e. it will require no additional files download.

If all goes well next plugin release will be shortly (i.e. a couple of days) after ED releases the DCS:Supercarrier module in Early Access.

@Hollywood, apologies as I've been out the loop for a while. Currently Viacom is working for me, except for any type of coms (carrier/airfields/tanker, etc). Should it be working currently?

 

 

*EDIT* After further testing. It seems like the ATC works but air to air refuelling just won't activate through Voice but works as per by coms menu.

I actually don't think that the post answers the question. It says that it's License only, but it doesn't say that it's an ADDITIONAL license over and above pro...

 

As a native English speaker, I infer from that post that it is, and I'll have to pay to get SC comms on top of the Pro license that I already own, but it doesn't explicitly state that.

 

However, a 2-minute click through Hollywoods link to the Vaicom webpage shows this:

What problem are you seeing (is it menus flashing on and off, not appearing or appearing when you don't want them to?)

I you already have a PRO license will we get Realistic ATC? At their sight if you purchase the Pro it comes with Realistic ATC.

If you buy the bundle (VAICOM, AIRIO and ATC), you will get the ATC functionality, but if you previously bought just the VAICOM Pro licence, you will need to buy the ATC addon, for an additional 3.50 Euros.

I purchased the Pro for the SC I guess I should have waited for the SC to be released, not happy but I have no choice but to purchase it.

It has nothing to due with the money. I don't have the F-14 I purchased the Pro because thought it would include automatic future upgrades like other software I have. No be deal, I fly only in VR and love their product. :thumbup:

Is the RIO module getting updated as well ? ATM Jester doesn't know the new boats when setting TACAN/datalink
