[NO BUG] Unable to select A10C II

Hello.

 

I have just bought and installed the "update" to the A10C II.

 

I am having some issues selecting it though. It shows up side by side with the old A10C at the bottom of the screen, but when I go to "Training", "Campaign" or any of those options, I only see the old A10C, and that is all it loads even when running the Startup training.

 

I know it is the old one, as the cockpit is pristine, and I have checked in the advanced settings on the A10C II, and the Dirty Bird Texture is selected.

 

Am I missing something. I have restarted DCS after installation, but no change.

They may not have made missions for it yet. In ME you should be able to switch to it in existing missions.

Check the 'Instant Action' menu. You have to select a mission under the A-10C II tab to load in the new A-10. It is a seperate module. There are definately no campaigns yet that support the A-10C II and I'm not sure about training missions, unable to check at the moment.

same here. There is no A10C][ in the mission editor

AG missiles are the regular AG65 D,G,H,K variants

Please ensure if you have the upgrade version you also have the original A-10C installed.

I'm experiencing the same here. I can select and fly the A10-C ii through quick action, but not in mission editor. It only gives me the option for the old one.

Yes it was installed. I purchased it. My DLC shows it

but it's not in game and there are no aircraft in the Mods>aircraft folder named A10c ][.

I just verified integrity of game files, all was ok.

Logged out of steam, logged back in. nothing

 

What should I look for that indicates it's installed?

I only have the Caucasus map. There is no A10C ][ in Instant Action either. Is another map needed? Do I need to be using the open beta?

@cthulhu68 thanks. Fixed. I didnt realize this was only a beta.

but now the open beta does not recognize trackIR. I have 5.42 installed.

I reinstalled it and now its fine. Weird.

A10C II module not appearing

 

I purchased the A10C II module and it is not appearing in my sim as a module.

EDIT: well I thought I was but my shortcut doesn't run the updater for my non VR version RIP....
