So finally I figured out what's happening. The AP will not switch from yellow to green if simultaneously I give pitch up input (even a small one).

You must relax the stick to center position to activate the AP (like the pilot would do that when releasing his grip from the AP override switch in front of the stick).

Still have the problem that when I start from the parking position, I can't joint the ground team, for example to remove the chokes. Have this problem for several weeks now, still isn't working :(

Radios are on, working. I can join the tower without problem. But I can't join the crew, for rearming, or to remove the chokes...

Any suggestions ?

Hi Kriko,

What branch of DCS are you running, stable or open beta ?

Weird, I can call the ground crew to remove the chokes after the cold start and closed the canopy.

Rearming and Refueling can only be executed after you shut down the engine

I have this problem was well, but not specific to the Mirage. Seems that (at least when using quick mission) GC only responds on the first mission. If I go to menu and start up again, GC almost never responds.

I've just gotten used to exiting and restarting the game every mission to keep stuff working.

Chokes? Do you mean chocks? If you do mean chocks, they may not be removable if you have the handbrake off, and the crew chief can't get them removed.

I've never had any issues with them.

Yeah chocks sorry. My bad. Canopy opened or closed doesn't matter. ground crew just isn't resonding. Like they were all having a coffee in Disneyland :-/

Please post a track, as I can't reproduce your issue.

Kriko, do you happen to own the Mig 19 or 15? I get the same issue periodically with both of them (and the Mirage). No GC, no matter the setting.

Also are you running campaign/mission/multiplayer/quick mission? It happens most regularly for me when repeatedly launching quick missions. (i.e. it will work the first time, but if I go back to the menu, switch plane/map and start again, no GC.)

I'd assumed it was a system or ED issue rather than anything to do with the individual planes.

Please post a track file and we will have a look for you.

Is there an developer/RAZBAM Support to give me the feedback that this is in resolving or are aware of this bug ? Or the after sales is completely off and we don´t have more feedback from the company about the product that we have PURCHASED ? I need to know, because if it´s so, then i will not buy others products from the company...

Thanks for the attention.

Why would one even need this on pcn when you have all data you need on the hud and hsi? Never experienced this and the radar altimeter fps drop bugs.

Unrealistic INS alignment performance looks like a higher priority to be honest.

I have not talked about priority, the last post said that it was fixed, I'm just saying that it is not and that I still have stutters.

On the usage of this function :

While doing an Air-Air mission you need to know your bullseye position, for this you set the bullseye as your DEST waypoint and uses the IDN (HSI) main arrow's rear and DME. (AdA pilots use this method, I've not pulled it from my ass ;))

Then you need to know where you are from your other mission waypoints, since your DEST waypoint is used, you can only have them as PREP waypoints and D/RLT allows you to know where the PREP waypoint is.

That is why I want to use this function but I am unable to due to the stutters it creates.

I'm not sure to get it. You're using the HSI to get your BE posit from the VTB ? What I do is placing one of my waypoint on the BE then, declaring this waypoint as the BE with the VTB function.

Am I doing it wrong ?

You need to have a waypoint on the BE.

You select this WPT on the VTB to have radar cursor position from the the BE.

But if you want to use air picture from the AWACS to point in the right direction, you need to be able to know your own position from the BE.

2 ways:

- select BE WPT as DEST and read on IDN (HSI) with range and back of the double arrow to get bearing from the BE.

- select BE WPT as PREP on PCN, select D/ RLT, and substrate 180° from RLT to get your bearing from BE (PCN gives bearing TO the BE).

So you can have bearing distance on 2 waypoints at the same time.

DEST on IDN and HUD.

PREP on PCN.

How you affect BE is up to you.

But you can quickly cycle DEST waypoint with keyboard shortcuts.

The real fighter has been upgraded with DEST +/- box on the left of the dashboard. So what sounds like gaming tweak is indeed realistic feature.

Ok, then to know where are you other waypoints you need the D/RLT function on the PCN.

to know where I am (and my targets) I have waypoints on VTB - those improve SA much more significantly than looking at D/RLT on PCN all the time
