WesterlySix Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 I am not sure my last pass did do this but...something ain't right here
Nealius Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 There's an issue with placing static objects close to the superstructure. They will often end up on top instead of on the deck.
=Mac= Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 No, this is the correct place for the Air Boss's vehicle. It's his parking spot and the monthly parking fees are normally paid for by the squadron with the most bolters. Note the red stripes: they are racing stripes. The red box on the rear bumper is the drag chute. The dual exhaust pipes below the drag chute are stock but not connected as the Air Boss has put in headers. The Hornet is best at killing things on the ground. Now, if we could just get a GAU-8 in the nose next to the AN/APG-65, a titanium tub around the pilot, and a couple of J-58 engines in the tail...

rayrayblues Posted December 15, 2020 Posted December 15, 2020 It usually happens to me when placing the crane. It's so big that in trying to keep it behind the foul line and it ends up on top. Nealius Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 Still unresolved. The crane cannot be placed in its proper location because it either ends up on top of the superstructure, or clipping into the tower behind the superstructure.

Northstar98 Posted July 12, 2021 Posted July 12, 2021 (edited) Typically, if the centre position of the vehicle is over a piece of the superstructure, it'll end up on top of it - at least that's my rule of thumb. Jagohu Posted July 18, 2021 Posted July 18, 2021 (edited) Maybe it's carrier-dependent, on CVN-71 it worked fine for me. Edited July 18, 2021 by Jagohu
