Tabasc0 Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 Hi pilots! When you are in the AGM-88 weapon page on the TGP, you can switch between 3 tables. But all SAM are not listed there. So i guess we cannot fire AGM-88 on these enemies? I know we can modify the tables positions with DED, but can we change/add some SAM?
Mustang25 Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 You can change the entries for each table in the DED page. You just have to switch them for the appropriate code for the emitter.

_SteelFalcon_ Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 i've attached you a table. feel free to use it. it's made to be used as a kneeboard page and somewhat sorted 1 2
Tabasc0 Posted January 27, 2021 Author Posted January 27, 2021 Thank you, i didnt see it was possible to edit the tables. But i cant see some AA units like the SAM SA-9 Strela in the list. Does it mean it is not possible to lock it with the AGM-88?
breakneckPace Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 sort of on topic, I haven't tried it yet, but looking at the list, can harms target ships?

Certain ship radars are in the Additional ALIC code tables You can target most carriers, blue (40x codes) or red. But good luck getting close enough to one of the BlueFor. When flying close to the coast, I'll setup ground based SAM on Table 1 and ship based SAM on Table 2. TIP: turn off not needed scan codes to make the sweep much faster. i.e. if I know only BLueFOr HK and P are present, I turn the other 3 off. CTR instead of WIDE also makes the scan much faster, as others have stated. 5600x, EVGA 3070 FTW, B550 Tomahawk, M.2 Samsung, 32GB CL16, AIO 240mm VKB Gladiator Pro, Freetracker IR 3d printed, TM MkII HOTAS circa 1985 w/USB Asus 27" 2560x1440 60fps (so constrain DCS to 60fps) F-16, F-18 2021 = First year on DCS:
Raven King Posted February 24 Posted February 24 I have a question: is it possible to employ the AGM-88 without the TPOD, like you would do with a Shrike? What are the limitations in this mode?

What are the limitations in this mode? You can employ AMG-88 using the missile seeker, or HTS pod. When using missile seeker you need to point the aircraft towards the emitter, lock the emitter and fire, the problem is that you don't know the distance to the emitter. HTS pod is much more precise, and with it you can fire off bore. Check the manual for detailed instructions.

EOM POS and RUK modes both give you that ability as well. Proud member of Master Arms, a Swedish DCS community
