AlK Hall Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 I had originally installed DCSWorld in my main C drive. However I prefer to run it on a dedicated SSD Drive. Therefore I removed the installation and reinstalled it on my E: drive. The big problem is my Free Trial aircraft etc. no longer work. I only have two aircraft and they are not to ones I want. I read somewhere that you get to choose two free aircraft with the base system. How do I get to select the two. Moreover how do I get to re-establish my free trials during this trial period. Please help. ALK

However, as we're currently in a free period, go to the module manager in the main menu (top, it's the 9 box icon) and you'll be able to install everything that's currently available during the free trial. ED fixed this recently, by allowing you to uninstall several modules in a single operation, but this is currently only on OpenBeta. The next update of Stable will have this feature as well. 3WA Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 From Reddit - Blaster_DE To delete the files, use the trashcan symbol in the DCS module manager or remove the modules by command line with "dcs_updater uninstall module_name", you can even put multiple module names separated by blanks.
BlackRook Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 I did that guys. I still had a black DCS World screen for an hour after that operation completed. Eventually I killed the process and relaunched. It must be that the process hung/died. Probably just a one-time hiccup.
