This can happen is you are using a scaling higher than 100% on one of your monitors. You could try "high DPI settings" under the Context Menu>Properties>Compatibility tab for the XRNS shortcut.

Thanks, I ticked the boxes in that but it made no difference... so I have set my monitor back to 100%. Now I can see the GUI properly.....

Does it work "out of the box" ? I have set my centre button, do I need to do anything else? I could not find a manual / help button on the GUI.....

the earlier versions wont work now that DCS uses open xr,  necksafer relies on open composite to run, except the latest beta 5a but its not liking open xr either so until its updated to new DCS specs we can use it period

If i use openxr natively in DCS, I get a  DCS CTD when i XR Necksafer is launched.  Anyone else?

hmmm uninstalling and re-installing 5a seems to make it sort of work but there is an uncommanded  offset when i turn my head left or right

this fixed it for me when i also selected use the resolution i signed into windows

I am using the openXR version as linked on first page....I thought the version was openXR friendly? So its broken since the DCS update this week, yes?

I'm using XRNeckSafer with the Varjo Aero and it works great!    However, I'm trying to help my friend get into DCS, and he's using a Vive Pro with SteamVR.  He has neck issues, so helping getting this working will be essential to helping him enjoy flight simming.  

He's downloaded and installed VRNeckSafer, and I've walked him through the steps to get it working, but for some reason, it isn't.  He sent me the following screenshot of VRNeckSafer from his system, and I can't see anything wrong. 

We're trying to have Autorotate work.  We even bumped up the "rot" values to magnify the effect just to see if it was working.  But he's hit the "recenter VR headset", it's reading HMD Yaw as he moves the headset around, but nothing happens in DCS.  Any ideas?

I've been using vrnecksafer before. Try this:

1. Turn off everything - DCS, WMR, SteamVR, Steam, vrnecksafer.
2. Start vrnecksafer, it should start automaticly WMR and Steam VR. 
3. For center reset button in vrnecksafer use the same button you are using in DCS for the same functionaly.
4. In vrnecksafer under "Manual rotation" tab check "Accum" 
5. Then start DCS.

Thanks for the response.  I shared this with my friend, and still no success.  Either in DCS or IL-2.  We can't figure out why it's not working for him.  I use XRNeckSafer, so it's hard for me to help troubleshoot by using the exact same program.  If anyone has any other idea, we'd welcome the help.

I am using an Index and have the same issue. It works fine for me in Il2 but in DCS not so much. I have given up to use it in DCS.

i find that issues occour if you load XRNecksafer before you load DCS, sometimes the offset, sometimes the mirror behaviour

I have the same problem.  Been trying to use Necksafer with DCS since last October when I got my Quest 2. It works perfectly with Il2 but have not been able to get it work in DCS despite trying all the available versions.

solved my problem by disable xnr layer in app options, and launching app before dcs

clearing environment data in wmr menu

So I've been using neck safer for a long time with my G2, no problems.

Got an Aero, and its being totally whacked out. Like it will set the view well under the plane facing backwards or sideways. And recentering the view doesn't help.

My old G2 would put the view above the pit the first time you engaged it but then after a recenter it would work normally. Any ideas as to whats going on?

On the compatibility page under Override DPI make sure to set the drop down to System.  This worked for me
