Hi!, so, after some time not using the A10C2 I jumped on it the other day and not only most of my control bindings were gone, but also, when I tried and load my profiles again, suddenly it deleted all of my keyboard bindings and the trackir. Any help or ideas please?

Probably of no help, but...

Have a look in C:\Users\NAME\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input

to see if you have input configuration files containing anything recognizable.

Have you switched from Normal to OpenBeta using the non Steam version?  That will use a different config folder.

Have you updated the firmware of your joystick so the device name has changed?

(This can't affect keyboard or trackir, which you say are affected.)

Did you wisely have an automatic backup system to locate an earlier version if your config files did get corrupted or deleted?

I have open beta and I have .lua backups of all my settings, it has nothing to do with that it ONLY happens with the A10C2, the rest of the planes are just fine and have no issues.

What you describe looks a bit like your devices were "disconnected", maybe because your USB hub doesn't provide enough power. Were the columns for keyboard and TrackIR gone, or just empty? Did you try a "Rescan" when this happened?
But if the issue only occurs with the A-10C II then that's obviously not the cause.

I'm afraid you do not provide enough detail for anybody to pinpoint the cause of your issue.

Not sure if it will help any, but with DCS open try unplugging and then replugging all your controllers from the USB ports.

Had a similar issue when introducing some pedals into my controls - in that my stick was dropped. Some of the bindings were missing, others not recognised. Rebooting didn't help, but unplug/replug fixed it.

@JovenTrollthe exact same thing happened to me... Doing a repair didn't help, but I turned the PC completely off, then on, then they seemed to work again.  Not sure what happened, or what I did to fix it.

Hum, I will try your suggestions and see what happens. It was really strange, and yes LeCuvier, first some bindings just appear to be lost, so i just reloaded my .lua to solve it, and suddenly all of the keyboard bindings and trackir just disappear.

If the vanishing bindings are a problem only with keyboard and TrackIR, I would focus on what might be different with the setup or connection of these devices. It will probably take some smart experimenting to find the cause of your problem, and I'm afraid we can't help much (except if somebody had exactly the same problem).

Check to see if your Control layout got switched. Start a mission with A10 and pause. Go to Controls screen and check that its using Real not Game layout. Also check under Options/ Gameplay that Game Flight isn't selected since that switches to Game control layout.

Happened to me too. The latest DCS patch must have updated the baseline control lua. My diff layer is completely wiped and I'll have to set it up again.
