Ai Planes that are taxiing to or from a runway do not maintain the normal interval between each other.

Eventually they will hit the plane in front.

This behaviour has only started since the latest OB update (2.7.0.5659) it was not an issue in previous iterations of OB 2.7

The attached Miz file demonstrates this behaviour.

A group of AI F/A-18 taxi out from their parking spots. The Flight lead Taxiis behind a Humvee.

After a short period of time the second unit in the group will hit the flight lead and Chaos ensues.

Yes AI pilot follows me to the runway then when I align myself he just completely forget I am there and just go for it, ramming my aircraft off.  :furious:

Tested in OB 2.7.4 and this issue is still occurring.

If you speed up the leading ground vehicle a little (16 knots instead of 11 knots), the issue does not happen.

Let's sum up the issue: As the leading aircraft slows down when following a vehicle slower than her,

number 2 won't slow down and will then eventually hit the leader.

I'll make the same test for different aircraft and then will report the issue.

Thanks Flappie

Test mission was set up to replicate the issue as quickly as possible.

I have tested most if not all aircraft in DCS and this only occurs to the Hornet.

I had this exact issue occur while in the P-51 and also the P-47. AI just taxis like you're not even there.

Nope, that's a different issue and it was fixed in current OB. You shouldn't  have this issue anymore.

@Avalanche110I cannot reproduce this issue internally. It seems it's been fixed.

I assume the fix will make it into the next OB update.

I have my doubts. I played a mission only a matter of hours ago and had the AI crash into me while taxiing to the runway - twice.

When I play next I'll look to save some track files.

@Flappie Thanks, I cant tell you how much I appreciate it.

As for the issue @_Spad_ mentioned, I have had AI crash into me on multiple occasions when entering the runway in OB 2.7.4

However I flew the Identical mission this morning and it didn't occur. I made a test mission to recreate it, tried it about 10 times but could not reproduce.

I believe there's still an issue there. Just difficult to reproduce.

@_Spad_ Do you have any Mods installed.

If so, do you mind listing them here so we can rule them out as a potential cause?

Only mods I have are the 476vfg range targets.
