AKA_Clutter Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 I am trying to update from 2.5.6.xxx to 2.7 and keep getting an error that I don't have enough free space. it says it needs 310,677 MB. I have squeezed about all I could out of my 1 TB drive and am still about 3,000 MB shy. Is this truly the amount needed. What do people do who have a500 GB drive? AndyJWest Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 My beta install is 267.4 GB. 169.5 GB of that is in the 'terrains' folder. The maps use a lot of storage.
Lange_666 Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 To circumvent this problem i did read a tip here somewhere to uninstall the terrains, update the sim and then re-install the terrains again. Never tried it but it's worth a shot. Yes, it does work like a charm with any module. Just uninstall modules you don't use much these days to gain some free space. ---
