zildac Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 Perhaps I'm missing something obvious here, but the newer "vrperfkit" replaces dxgi.dll with its own shim as opposed to the previous releases which replaced Openvr_api.dll. Which means that you can no longer use this mod with Reshade as Reshade also relies on its own version of dxgi.dll. 14900KS | Maximus Hero Z690 | ASUS 4090 TUF OC | 64GB DDR5 6600 | DCS on 2TB NVMe | WarBRD+Warthog Stick | CM3 | TM TPR's | Varjo Aero

Also, any other mod that relies on a custom dxgi.dll will no longer work, I suspect. Hence, my original question. If you're not using any ReShade or other shader modifications that utilizes dxgi.dll, then VRPerfkit is the one for you. If you have something like ReShade that already modifies the dxgi.dll then you would need to use OpenVR FSR as it interacts with openVR_api.dll instead of dxgi.dll Edited January 18, 2022 by EightyDuce Windows 11 23H2| ASUS X670E-F STRIX | AMD 9800X3D@ 5.6Ghz | G.Skill 64Gb DDR5 6200 28-36-36-38 | RTX 4090 undervolted | MSI MPG A1000G PSU | VKB MCG Ultimate + VKB T-Rudders + WH Throttle | HP Reverb G2 Quest 3 + VD
