It only works when you set the interior lighting to "NITE". Did you set it such?

Ah sorry - did not know you had to be in 'Nite' Mode - you learn something every day!

It is rather bright though, even in its lowest setting. I wish it would be able to be set even more dim before it turns off at the lowest turn of the knob.

Hi, as shimmergloom667 mentions above it is working as intended.

thanks

Hey, BN...

Has there been any more movement towards making the EI panel Nite lighting darker when the knob is turned low? It still is WAY brighter than every other light (on minimum settings) in the cockpit while in Nite mode... to the point where I always turn it off because it won't dim to the level of the other lights, displays, etc.

It still wasn't fixed...

What do you mean? The dimming function is only supposed to work in NITE mode, this is true to real life.

I usually turn it off and then I turn it one click clockwise. I think the one click clockwise is still too bright for being the lowest setting and I would probably tune it down a touch... 😉

Same goes to the RWR function button lights. In the lowest possible brightness, the lights actually flickers on and off, but does not dimm at all...

Yes, but even so you can not dim it down enough.

Correct... Though, strangely, if you start a mission in the daylight and switch to Nite lighting...as it gets darker and then pitch black out the window, it will dim nearly as dark as the other instrument panel lights. If you start off in the dark, it is WAY too bright on the minimum setting... and I too usually just turn it off completely.

Might be useful to append two different tracks if possible.

@BIGNEWY This seems like an internal issue rather than some personal opinion on light intensity...
