I'm reliably told that ED are waiting for Vulkan and Multi-threading to be done first, in order to cope with the sophistication and FPS impact such a 'Wind readout' would inflict. Hence the delay.

Sounds like a poor excuse to me seeing as winds aloft was added to the Viper.

Has this still not been implemented?  I had a strong crosswind on final approach ast night yet the wind reading of the A/C page was 0??
