WelshZeCorgi Posted January 5, 2022 Author Posted January 5, 2022 (edited) why not? They implemented all sorts of other ffb stuff. Transonic, ground roll, spin and stall, high aoa, gear, flaps and i think speed brake. If that's the logic, maybe HB should stop development and release the 14 as is. Cause why continue improving the product? Edited January 5, 2022 by WelshZeCorgi
Dragon1-1 Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 IRL, you won't feel anything on the stick when the weapon releases. Not unless the rocket exhaust hits the tailplane, which is very bad for it in the long run. So in most cases, it doesn't happen.

It won’t shake the stick but the seat, which is more realistic anyway. 1 System: 7800X3D / Asus RTX 4090 OC / 64GB 3600mhz / Pimax Crystal / VKB GF3 Ultimate
WelshZeCorgi Posted January 19, 2022 Author Posted January 19, 2022 Wouldn't firing the 20mm shake the stick, even a little bit? I mean it's going off a few feet away.

This is a question for @Victory205 to answer, and if his answer is yes, I think we can look into this. 1 Heatblur Simulations Please feel free to contact me anytime, either via PM here, on the forums, or via email through the contact form on our homepage. http://www.heatblur.com/ https://www.facebook.com/heatblur/
Callsign JoNay Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 (edited) I know it's not apples to apples, but every strafing video I've seen from A-10s, F-16, and F-18 seems to shake the camera and cockpit pretty good. Usually it scrambles up the compass too. Edited January 23, 2022 by Callsign JoNay 2

Whistler_RIO Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 (edited) This feature already exists btw. you just might not have the FFB tuned for it. when using Andre's SimShaker Wings software, you feel distinctly which side the weapon deployed from. That means that the hook already existed for directx to respond to. (this might not translate to audio-based FFB like buttkicker, if its not using simshaker. thats a much deeper code-state-aware solution than the audio-vibration solution) Edited December 30, 2022 by Whistler_RIO 1
