BluePhantom Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Can we please fix this? Can we please fix this? Can we please fix this? I'm in the middle of a mission and want to give commands to my flight. As always, there is no "spot" cursor to enable me to give the correct communications menu commands. So, as always I have to click all over god's creation to try and get my cursor back. Turns out I've opened two other windows on the desktop and my plane controls are totally unresponsive. All because of the VR cursor issue that should have been fixed by now. Really. It's been two years and the "cursor in window" curse continues. Can we please fix this? Can we please FIX THIS?

RedeyeStorm Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 My solution is to press left alt + enter which makes the vr mirror full screen. That way your mouse cursor can not move outside the DCS window.
Taz1004 Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 It's counter intuitive but I have to turn Cursor confined to window "OFF" in VR options. Then use Alt+Enter to make it fullscreen. 1 Better Smoke - Better Trees Caucasus - Better Trees Syria - Better Trees Mariana - Clear Canopy Glass
Dangerzone Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 I've built in muscle memory that whenever I move my cursor to select something - I over-extend and then move back slightly (to ensure the cursor remains in the DCS window). It seems if you move the cursor right to the edge of the window, it clicks on what is open behind it.
Sr. Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 (edited) I bound left Alt+C (Clickable mouse cockpit option on/off) to the "back" button on my mouse to help find the cursor. At least helpful when switching on the comms menu and trying to get a cursor instead of the VR +. I also make sure to minimize the other open windows. RealDCSpilot Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 On my end it was actually a Win10 issue. My VR mirror window was very large and got rendered behind the taskbar and every time the confined-to-window cursor was positioned over the area of the taskbar and i clicked, the game window got out of focus (because it technically clicked on the taskbar). I quickly found out to work around this by making the VR mirror window smaller to prevent this from happening: Those features came with DCS 2.7 and i find them very useful, i asked BN to pin the topic but he never reacted. So the thread sunk into the abyss... i9 13900K @5.5GHz, Z790 Gigabyte Aorus Master, RTX4090 Waterforce, 64 GB DDR5 @5600, PSVR2, Pico 4 Ultra, HOTAS & Rudder: all Virpil with Rhino FFB base made by VPforce, DCS: all modules
