Shimmergloom667 Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 It may very well be restricted by the mission, not your settings (which look alright) 1 i7 - 9700K | 32 GB DDR4 3200 | RTX 2080 | VKB Gunfighter Mk II /w MCG Pro | Virpil T-50CM2 Throttle | TrackIR 5 | VKB Mk. Recluse Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 Do you use TRACKIR? Make sure F6 isn't bound to a TRACKIR function.
pete_auau Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 depends on the mission set up if your not using tr that is or have f6 bound to another key bind
Fish Posted January 5, 2022 Author Posted January 5, 2022 Thanks... Missions are my own simple, couple of AC couple of enemy vehicles, and canned from DCS. Same result. Happens with/without TIR/opentrack loaded / With / without VR loaded. (TIR and Open track don't use F6. As you can see in the image, key binding has not been changed. Recluse Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 (edited) Hmmm.. Under the MISC Tab do you have PLAYER or SPECTATOR EXTERNAL VIEWS on? BTW, can you use any of the other F commands (like F2 to see your external view?) Edited January 5, 2022 by Recluse
Fish Posted January 5, 2022 Author Posted January 5, 2022 I can use F2,3,4,10,11, Fish's Flight Sim Videos [sIGPIC]I13700k, RTX4090, 64gb ram @ 3600, superUltraWide 5120x1440, 2560x1440, 1920x1080, Warthog, Tusba TQS, Reverb VR1000, Pico 4, Wifi6 router, 360/36 internet[/sIGPIC]

Fish Posted February 7, 2022 Author Posted February 7, 2022 Still not solved this issue, and reluctant to do a full reinstall. Any more suggestions welcome. Flappie Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Simply rename your "Saved Games/DCS..." to "DCS_backup" or any other distinctive name, and keep it as a backup, then launch DCS: If it works: you'll need to copy from the backup folder into the newly created folder. If it doesn't work, well at least, you'd have tried: rename the new folder to "DCS_betterlucknexttime" (or anything other name) and rename your backup folder to its original name. 1 ---

Yes got it working by creating the new saved games folder, and now copying back in the stuff I need. Have not found the offending file/files, but not that important actually. The F6 view is really fun in VR.
