They seem to be working on fuses, at least something in that direction is being done for WW2 bombs. i‘d be surprised if this wouldn‘t also be done to modern weapons sometime in the future as well.

So if I understood this correct, this is already in the game and working with just .lua tweaks? How is this not in OB??

Yes it is.
Problems are:
- it works only with single bombs, no with double racks
- when you drop a bomb game deletes bomb ubder plane and spawns new one - the new one is default.

and the last problem is that ED has not put these in the game yet

For the love of god, it's been years and the caps are in the game files and hooked to arguments.

Do something, all pictures with JDAMs look goofy. You do seem to care about how your game looks at ED.
