Hi,

as far as I am aware this is not a bug, the default loadouts will always be there when the editor is loaded.

Thanks, but I believe thats not the case in F/A-18 and other modules, I can delete all the pre-set loadout or rename or modify them, and the ME will keep all the changes, however the pre-set on Viper keep coming back

You can delete \DCS World\CoreMods\aircraft\F-16C\UnitPayloads\F-16C_50.lua to remove all default loadouts. It will be restored after every update so you will have to do it every few weeks or so.

What I do is that I edit the .lua files for the default loadouts such that they're blank, I then make a copy of them and put them in a folder on my user area, containing the file path for each of them.

Then when DCS is updated or repaired I can just copy and paste that folder into the main DCS World folder and it will overwrite them such that they're blank.

It used to be that way but I just tried and the A10C2 ED defined payloads come back. I'm guessing they're all that way now.
