ED Team BIGNEWY Posted February 11, 2022 ED Team Posted February 11, 2022 Hi, as far as I am aware this is not a bug, the default loadouts will always be there when the editor is loaded. Thanks, but I believe thats not the case in F/A-18 and other modules, I can delete all the pre-set loadout or rename or modify them, and the ME will keep all the changes, however the pre-set on Viper keep coming back

Marklar Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 (edited) You can delete \DCS World\CoreMods\aircraft\F-16C\UnitPayloads\F-16C_50.lua to remove all default loadouts. It will be restored after every update so you will have to do it every few weeks or so. Edited February 20, 2022 by Marklar 1 i9 13900K; RTX 4090, 64GB RAM. Northstar98 Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 What I do is that I edit the .lua files for the default loadouts such that they're blank, I then make a copy of them and put them in a folder on my user area, containing the file path for each of them. Then when DCS is updated or repaired I can just copy and paste that folder into the main DCS World folder and it will overwrite them such that they're blank. 2 Modules I own: F-14A/B, F-4E, Mi-24P, AJS 37, AV-8B N/A, F-5E-3, MiG-21bis, F-16CM, F/A-18C, Supercarrier, Mi-8MTV2, UH-1H, Mirage 2000C, FC3, MiG-15bis, Ka-50, A-10C (+ A-10C II), P-47D, P-51D, C-101, Yak-52, WWII Assets, CA, NS430, Hawk. Terrains I own: South Atlantic, Syria, The Channel, SoH/PG, Marianas. System: GIGABYTE B650 AORUS ELITE AX, AMD Ryzen 5 7600, Corsair Vengeance DDR5-5200 32 GB, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070S FE, Western Digital Black SN850X 1 TB (DCS dedicated) & 2 TB NVMe SSDs, Corsair RM850X 850 W, NZXT H7 Flow, MSI G274CV. I'm guessing they're all that way now.
Nealius Posted March 8, 2022 Posted March 8, 2022 What about replacing the main install payload lua with your Saved Games payload lua? I used to do that and it would get rid of the default payloads.
