KermitOG Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 When attempting the 30MM chain gun training mission I cannot proceed past WAS'ing up for the gun. I have restarted the mission multiple times but still get the same problem.
gabridelli Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 Use corrispondent control on the left grip, not the keyboard or hotas control, and Mission go on.Inviato dal mio SM-A315G utilizzando Tapatalk
Screenchecker Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 thanks for the hint! should probably be fixed since a lot of people will have keybind for the WAS
ED Team NineLine Posted March 19, 2022 ED Team Posted March 19, 2022 Sorry, I was able to use both the key bind and assigning to the HOTAS with now issue. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
Bad Karma Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 It seems this bug might be an intermittent one. I bound the WAS keys on both my HOTAS stick and throttle and was not able to get it to work. I exited the mission and started it again in hopes that after binding the key it would work. I tried interreacting with the button on the collective but the buttons on both sticks in the cockpit cannot be interacted with from the mouse. The message box on the training mission had this displayed. "Next, 'WAS-Up' the Gun - TEDAC Left Hand Grip WAS UP. (Not Highlighted)". I am fairly new to DCS at least seriously now that I have a HOTAS setup so maybe I have a setting that is off, but in my other modules the pilot sticks have had buttons you could interact with. It's early access so I understand there might be some bugs. Hopefully this one is easy to fix.
Screenchecker Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 (edited) @NineLinejust rechecked in case it only doesn't work if you bind the key during the session, but it also does not work for me if the binding is in place right from the start. It's set for the pilot and the cp/gunner using the TMS on my Warthog Hotas. Thanks for making this awesome module happen, I enjoy it very much! Edited March 19, 2022 by Screenchecker

Bad Karma Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 Well just for clarity I made a video of what is happening. I am able to WAS to the gun but the mission does not continue it just sits there as if it is waiting for a button press. AH-64 30MM Training Bug
Ghostraider Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 Try to select the trigger guard button before or also [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]www.49th.de

I was able to WAS up the gun, release the trigger guard and fire a few rounds off but the mission was still stuck on "WAS Up The Gun".

I think it may be because there are two WAS hats in the CPG Cockpit - on the HOCAS and the TEDAC LHG. If you bind WAS Up to the HOCAS keybind the tutorial doesn’t proceed awaiting a press on the TEDAC WAS Up. For that I will give you some beans or a triangle for you when you play in the band. Black Adder was a great show.

Christoph Posted March 27, 2022 Posted March 27, 2022 I have problem with this trainging mission - (in close range to targets on airfield)- I try to laser (second detent) and fire gun (second detent trigger) but nothing happenes. I am waiting for new joystick and I am forced to use keyboard. I also tried first detent laser and trigger (steady AH 64 and target) but it was also fail. Anyone have idea why?
