In a Case 1 scenario, the AI wingman in the A model tomcat (didnt try the F-14B in that regard) lowers his flaps although the wings are swept back. That shouldnt be possible.

That bug is still there, and it really bugs me.

Hey Tomcatter, somehow this managed to fly completely under my radar, my apologies. It is tracked now.

We need to check if this is something to be fixed on our side or DCS side, but we will investigate further. Thank you very much for the kind reports and reminder!

@IronMike This is still an issue in the current open beta version. It would be really cool if you guys could fix that - as a screenshot creator whos also working on some videos, that bug with the flaps piercing into the fuselage witnullh swept back wings really spoils one of the coolest parts of the flight.

@Tomcatter87 Do you do most of your screenshots paused in single player? In multiplayer replay tracks my AI wingmen don't appear to sweep their wings at all.

Yes, it's 95 percent single player with pause.

and also AI has a different AoA and sweep wing angle than you when flying at the same speed and altitude. It seems that it is also a problem of the AI flight model, far away of the F-14 flight model

Probably won't get fixed until we get the GFM.

Sweep depends on Mach and altitude - nothing a SFM can't handle.

Thing is, there WAS a time when it looked correct. Just went through my old screenshots and once upon a time the flaps of the wingman didnt clip into the fuselage / rubber bags.

It's now two years and four months since I first reported this. See my screenshot, taken yesterday. As soon as I call inbound to the carrier, the wingman's flaps start behaving in a way it should not be possible. It really looks awful and I think it's a bummer there hasn't been a fix for this.
