No weird reflections but this problem make the mod almost unsuble. Any directories tree where I can unsterstand the changes must be done? Thanks.
F2C Posted April 11, 2024 Posted April 11, 2024 Hello, I just discovered this plane and it looks simply great, being a beginner I wanted to know if it was possible to fly as a passenger with a pilot friend? Basically 2 players in the same plane like the T45 Thank you for this plane 2

CarloVecchi Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 Hello guys, i have installed the SK-60B v1.2.1. But I have big problems with the bindings. I have everything binded to my Hotas, throttle & button box. But many things do not work when starting mission. Joystick completely not working, electrical systems don´t work, throttle does not work etc... Anyone who can help? I´m on latest beta....
minar Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 (edited) For me, it works perfectly with a hotas and track IR. Its certainly my most favorite freeware plane to fly. The training missions are also very well done and explain how to use weapons perfectly. I am on 1.2.1 as well but my only problem is sometimes to arm the weapon reticle and weapons, after using the key to bring up the weapon window, the mouse will not scroll through the options to arm rockets/guns or activate the reticle sight. I do wish a future update will allow us to use a toggle on the dash to arm or even a key stroke, instead of the menu. it worked the first few times I flew the aircraft but now I cannot navigate the arming menu when i bring it up so i am now stuck and unable to arm and fire. LCO489 Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 Hi, i'm using 1.2.1 now. Anyone having issues with control surfaces not being animated? Only ones animated are flaps and airbrakes.

Can confirm, just tested it and the flight surfaces have no movement, I reverted to v1.2.0 and on that version the surfaces behave as expected. 3 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB

I just installed and tried this mod, using that version. The main control surfaces don't move (ailerons, rudder, nose wheel), but inside, the stick and pedals move. Still, impossible to fly like that. Also, the throttles seem to stutter, and the area for the mouse control/tooltips over the left throttle is way too big.
Tonker Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Just re-downloaded the SK60, v1.2.2, wondering if it would make a fun stand-in for the A-37 Dragonfly... ...with an eye to using it in @Mistermann and @Devil5O5's excellent Viet-Guam playground Into the Jungle, to provide a capability in between the OV-10 and A-4E. First up, props to the BAAS team - it's at least as gorgeous as I remember, with some really lovely touches. The GPS remains a very impressive little gizmo, but more importantly the sounds and lighting are wonderful. It's a real testament to the about of effort and care that went into the mod. It's great to chuck round the sky, and whilst I didn't have time to get into weapons testing from memory they're good fun and surprisingly effective. Obviously there's a but ...But... Straight up, DCS sees it as 'v2.0.5-alpha1', as shown on the module selector UI at the bottom of the main screen. I know this can just be a typo issue, but can also be a warning for bigger problems. Loading into @Rudel_chw's training missions, now included in the base download which is a great idea, on the first two show (startup/takeoff and approach/landing/shutdown). I assume this is because the weapons training missions require the Weapons Range mod, and so have not been included? No biggy, just to make sure I've not missed something. Like others have mentioned, nearly all externall animations are absent. Flaps show as advertised, but otherwise all control surfaces and airbrakes are U/S. Contrary to at least one other user, above, the nosewheel steering is animated. Like others, I'm also having issues with key/hotas binds. This seems hit-and-miss; fuel, starter and throttle idle switches all bindable, but things like the battery and inverter switches, or external light switches are clickable only. Is this a programming thing where those switches have not been assigned to a key, and so cannot be bound? The default keyboard buttons appear to do nothing. Then there are some tricksy ones like the nosewheel steering selector, which has a default keybind (S) but which I cannot reassign to a controller button or switch. I haven't spent ages playing with this yet, but would be keen to hear of any useful avenues to investigate. Anything else I should be aware of? Again, no skin off BAAS' nose - they've done a great job to get this far, to be able to have this amazing community aircraft for free is just nuts, and it's entirely understandable that life priorities change over the years it takes to develop and support a mod aircraft. Just a bit of a shame that this little beauty got so close to greatness, but is just a couple of QoL tweaks away from being something really special. I wonder if it would make a good first/interim project for another mod group...? 1 Nah, I've only just met 'er...:pilotfly:

Tonker Posted March 31 Posted March 31 (edited) On the lookout for some too, no joy yet. Template looks good, so fingers x'd someone's had the same idea... Hope you enjoy it! Most of the issues I was having were user error, and tho I've not been flying it loads it was a good time. No expert, but give a shout if there's anything I can (try to) help with. I just flew this thing and talk about a night a day difference from when it was first released 2 years ago. OUTSTANDING cockpit and pilot models. Absolutely going to promote this one, even if it does not wind up in ITJ right away. This is 100% going on the new Germany map when it comes out. I plan on cruising around the map in this and the Gazelle. Massive fan of the Gazelle and biased because I grew up around it. Let me know if you find any liveries. Maybe we could put a request out there. This thing released in the 60's so avionics wise, its on par for what we would be flying for the most part. Really digging it. Thanks for the shout on this one. Violent Nomad also pointed me this direction. I will try to get a video up this weekend. 2

The only downside is it messes with my OH6 muscle memory on the pedals! Hoping the new Polychop give it another round of love as they work on the Osprey, as they did when doing the Kiowa to spruce up the textures etc, but it's my only paid module for a reason! The SK60 avionics are cool, bloody impressive to have coded GPS navigation but that's neither here nor there for the settings we're interested in. The important thing for me was how it felt in the cockpit...and it feels pretty 'king good! Must be awesome in VR too 1 Nah, I've only just met 'er...:pilotfly:
