How to stop GAME Mode in Training Missions?

I bought the AH-64D module last night and am going through the Training Missions using the latest Open Beta DCS.

The Training Missions always start in GAME MODE and I don't have Game Mode active in any menus.

How do I get out of this mode so that I can fly the helicopter in the Training Missions?

It's impossible to control the aircraft as there is no option to assign controls for Game Mode.

Open the missions in the Mission Editor, then save them and it should be fine. It's a bug in the first 3 only I believe, probably will be fixed soon anyway, but re-saving sorted it for me.

Where are they located at?

Modules - Damn near all of them (no Christian Eagle or Yak)

System - Ryzen 9 7900X, 64Gig DDR5 RAM, RTX-4090, 3 32" monitors @1440, default settings of High (plus some)

Why don’t these simple bugs get fixed? It’s hard enough learning these modules without people having to learn about editing missions.

They are fixed, my latest Openbeta does not present this issue, so I assume that the bug is present on the stable branch .. on its next update cycle it should be fixed too.

seems odd that stable is not and beta is, regarding this, but my bad I guess

Sure you didn't load and save them as the workaround to get them working?  Still borked in latest OB for me and others.

Crazy that they are still not fixed by ED, but the workaround is easy, Don. Just load them into ME and save them. Sorted! Only needs doing once.
