Am I going nuts or has the cannon firing delay been increased?

If I recall correctly, pre-patch, the cannons fired rather quickly after pressing the button (albeit with a small delay) ->

If I now try to fire the cannons, they have a rather significant delay to the version before and they do not have such a short delay as before like in the video.cannondelay.trk

Bug? On purpose?

I've never experienced a few-seconds delay and since the guy was the only person reporting it, I guess it was an exception rather than the rule.

The normal delay used to be about .25 s on the first trigger pull and about .15 on subsequent ones, as measured and posted by Holbeach in linked thread. I agree It seems to be a little higher after the update, but one has to figure out how to reliably measure it again to see if that's indeed the case.

I tested again, old version and new update, with static ground and air against Ju-88s and could see no difference against the video derived times.

In fact cannon was very close to machine guns in operation, just slightly behind, certainly nothing to affect any kind of attack.
