[solved] Viggen exploding randomly in specific high-speed condition

It already happened to me twice now on Syria within only like 10 hours of flying the module. Trackfile attached. Happened super shortly after reaching bingo fuel warning (24% warning). https://ufile.io/lmqrvjn6

Very low level flight, somewhere above mach 1.1. shorter track not available sadly.

Well, I've just done a flight at 45m above ground cruising at M1.3 from 100% fuel down to 0% fuel without any exploding.

If you say in a specific high speed condition, does that mean you know the details to it when it happens and you can reliably reproduce the exploding?

I haven't experienced this in a lot of low level flying with all kinds fuel and weapons loads. Any chance you're getting hit by SAMs?

Negative, no SAM, killmessage in chat didn't say "shot by SAM" in that case, only "died" message.

The condition I'm guessing is that when the airframe has endured many high G maneuvers and several times accelerating through Mach 1 and down again, before it occurs

Can you record a video of it?

Not that I know of. But of course you can always go ahead and try to reproduce the issue.

Have you perhaps heavily over-G'd your airframe when you exploded?

Will do. For now, I have another video with another issue, system just randomly shut down and instant pitch down. So far only occured once. https://youtu.be/mWsneozAFqM?t=144

This is a server specific script, you exploding is not a bug with the module.

What is the max speed allowed on the server? I've had it happen once, but can't remember how fast I was actually going (I was in a hurry 😄).

this is funny!
you wana go fast because you can, nope

Couldn't find any source yet about the 1350 kph being jet-engine limit or airframe limitation. If engine limitation, then the script should be removed obviously.

If you stay at 1,350 IAS then you will be fine. We don't give details on anything more than. The reason for that is because this was added on due to exploiters. People were taking the Viggen up to 13k and going at extreme speeds in AB3. It is a known bug that Heatblur has acknowledged. HB is very busy and this is an edge case bug that effects a small portion of the community because most people don't fly at 13k. So with that context, we decided to fence off the Viggen ourselves.

Consider making the Viggen self destruct of it flies above 13k.  Or actually above 13m 😁

It kind of already does that. The AB will flame out (for some unknown reason) if you go much higher than that, which makes flying that high impossible 😄

Even in their own manual they state that the service ceiling is far above 13k, Enigma.

Did he claim otherwise? They're talking about an exploit/speedbug.

Service ceiling is when the max climb rate drops below a threshold (e.g. 100 ft/min for American jets) under certain fuel and loadout assumptions. The only thing we're talking about here is that the Viggen's afterburner flames out above ~13 km.  Not directly related to the service ceiling.

Oh, it's only that Enigma claimed that it's a known bug that it shouldn't even reach over 13k and go fast.

nullTo clear up that it's should be able to fly above 13km, according to this graph there you should be able to get up to 15,5km with a clean aircraft. With the aircraft loaded with 3x ARAK + KB + XT the aircraft is way more limited speed wise, and slightly less so in altitude. Especially so in "hot" weather.
However in DCS currently the weapons and pods have quite low drag coefficients which make them not slow down the aircraft enough, so the performance graphs can not be trusted for accurate performance inside DCS.

We're talking about a speed limit. It's just easier to exceed the speed limit at high altitude.
